Intake Coordinator, FT

We are a close-knit group of clinicians that share a strengths-based philosophy of care, and work together to empower our clients of all ages. We are seeking a client-centred Intake Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team. 

Our Intake team acts as a mediary between the clinic and prospective clients. The primary role of the Intake team is to connect with clients and outline Springboard’s services, triage/screen clients to ensure Springboard is the right place to support their needs, and schedule initial consultations and/or assessments when appropriate. They also provide followup support to ensure all relevant information for new clients is collected in a timely manner for clinicians, communicate with third party medical professionals, support billing processes, and other administrative responsibilities. 

In addition to working with prospective clients, the Intake Coordinator oversees and supports the Intake team to ensure work is completed cohesively and efficiently, as well as collaborates with management and staff to address logistical concerns pertaining to assessment services. 

 Duties & Responsibilities:
➔ Conduct screening for new clients to clarify relevant current/prior mental health history and help assess fit
➔ Conduct Case Management Calls with prospective clients to elaborate on services, answer queries/concerns, assist in booking, and manage any client communication followup
➔ Book assessment/intake appointments and oversee assessment calendar to ensure booking expectations are met
➔ Co-design a complex assessment calendar involving multidisciplinary teams of clinicians on an as needed basis
➔ Supervise members of the Intake team with regards to work flow and completion of tasks
➔ Communicate with assessment team clinicians regarding potential complexities for upcoming assessments
➔ Support the scheduling of high volume of Case Management Calls for clients of all ages
➔ Oversee administrative team with regards to post-booking tasks
➔ Aid in the development of new screening tools and services
➔ Manage status of referrals from family physicians 

 Skills & Knowledge:
➔ Experience managing bookings on multiple staff calendars is required 
➔ Experience working in customer service is required, preferably within the medical/mental health profession
➔ High comfort level communicating with mental health clientele
➔ Strong administrative skills
➔ Excellent written and oral communication skills
➔ Experience multitasking in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
➔ Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
➔ Can work independently effectively, as well as collaboratively as a team
➔ Involvement in overseeing and/or supervising colleagues is an asset
➔ Participation in building staffing calendars and/or managing complex staffing calendars  an asset
➔ General understanding of ADHD is an asset
➔ Knowledge of Telus PS Suite EMR is an asset

 Qualifications
➔ Minimum: undergraduate degree or equivalent college diploma, preferably within the field of mental health
➔ 2+ years of related work experience

This role has the potential to grow into a full-time and/or permanent position.

Duties & Responsibilities:
➔ Provide ADHD coaching and therapy services to children, adolescents, adults and their families.
➔ Work under the supervision of a psychologist, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and community agencies/professionals.
➔ Adhere to PHIPA guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
➔ Graduate degree in social work/psychology/education/mental health field is required.

Adult Psychiatrists

We are seeking two part-time, collaborative and patient-centred Adult Psychiatrists to join our growing team at Springboard Clinic to assess and help support our adult patient population.

We are dedicated to Physician Happiness:
➔ Receive a competitive hourly rate with no overhead (still get compensated if patient cancels)
➔ Work 1-3 days/week with a multidisciplinary team for assessment and report writing (no take home work)
➔ We take care of submitting OHIP billings, managing calendars, booking clients, and other admin tasks so you don’t have to

Your Qualifications (What You Have):
➔ Medical Degree, FRCPC, with specific training in mental health/ psychiatry
