Merav Gilboa, MA, OATR, Registered Psychotherapist and Art Therapist, is an ADHD Coach/Psychotherapist at Springboard Clinic.

Merav completed her BA in Sociology and Education followed by a 2-year diploma program in Art Therapy. She later completed her MA in Cultural Studies where she explored the experiences of body and space in women with dementia in long-term care facilities. Merav has over 22 years of experience working as an Art Therapist with diverse populations, using visual art as a bridge to support expression and communication with individual clients as well as group settings. She has provided services in both medical and educational settings as part of large interprofessional teams, work that included programming, case management and interaction with families and other care providers in the community. Merav has extensive experience working with multiple age groups including children, adolescents, adults and older adults where she designed and conducted Person- Centered care programs. She has worked with individuals facing a range of issues including mental health challenges, neurological and cognitive disorders, developmental delays and the journey of aging and end of life processes.

Prior to Springboard Merav worked at Baycrest Health Sciences for 8 years, delivering individual and small therapeutic group programs both at the hospital and the long term facility where she used different materials and techniques for Therapy.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working in the garden, making pottery, and going hiking and canoeing.
